Since your data is important both for you and for us as an association, we want you to know what data we have about you, how we process it, for what purposes we use it and what rights you have over it. This privacy policy establishes the way in which the Be Teen Association collects and uses personal data. Your privacy is one of our core commitments at Be TeeN.
How is personal data defined? Personal data is any information that refers to an identified or identifiable natural person. The various information that, collected, can lead to the identification of a certain person are also personal data.
Data we collect:
Be TeeN Association processes personal data in the following contexts/situations: application/registration forms, CVs and other personal documents (letters of motivation/intent) sent by people interested in applying for various projects/activities of the organization, registration forms, applications sent to become a volunteer of the association, contact details for the internal database of the structure for sending newsletters or communications/news regarding activities/actions/events/projects carried out.
The data we process in these contexts/situations mostly include the following: contact data such as no. phone number or e-mail address, name and surname, date of birth, place of residence/domicile, residence/domicile address, CI and/or passport data as well as their expiry dates or the personal answer to various questions which helps us select participants for various projects/activities/actions/events that we carry out.
We also use Google Analytics to evaluate the traffic on our website: no. of visitors, no. of website page views, time spent by a user on the site, etc.
Be TeeN may also use your contact details to provide electronic newsletters about Be TeeN's activities, projects, meetings, press releases, events, invitations and any other relevant information. You can withdraw your consent at any time, expressing your option not to receive newsletters in the future by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link (found at the bottom of the page) when you receive the respective e-mail or by writing to contact@beteen.ro
The association strictly keeps the personal data of all the people who in one form or another have given their consent in this regard. Be TeeN does not collect personal data from third parties, does not buy or sell personal or other data, and does not pass them on to other people or entities, with the exception of local, national or international partners with whom it collaborates and who request these data. The collection and processing of data always has a legal basis and is motivated: either by the consent expressed by each person, or by the legitimate interest or the fulfillment of some legal or contractual obligations of the association (e.g. by the participation of some people in projects with European funding, etc. ).
If a person has benefited through the European funding association or of another nature, in the context of which we are required to fulfill some legal obligations, we will store some personal data for a period of up to 5 years, after the conclusion of the contracts for those projects.
